18 free AI tools under one login, and exactly what free means

Signing up is free and takes an email address. With the account you can open every tool, look at the settings and models each one offers, keep a history and a gallery, and see the exact cost of a run before you press the button. The image tools, the app builder and Math Notes all print the price next to the Generate button, for example "This generation will cost 10 credits".

What the starting balance won't do is pay for much of that. The cheapest image model in the menu costs 10 credits a picture. A Math Notes answer costs 10. Removing a background costs 20. A song costs 1,000. Set those against 1 image credit and the gap is obvious. Two other things are worth knowing: the API and the Playground are for paid plans only, and video generation isn't part of the current plan at all, paid or free.

One habit saves credits on the generator: settle the wording on a cheap model first, then run the final version on an expensive one. Ideogram v3 costs 400 credits a picture and FLUX.2 Klein costs 10, so drafting on Klein is forty times cheaper per attempt.

Text to music writes a track from a few words, with lyrics or as an instrumental. Music to music takes a track you upload and makes a new variation of it. Both are among the most expensive tools per run, at 1,000 credits a track, which is why they're the clearest case for the trial rather than the free balance. File Chat is the one people overlook. Drop in a long PDF, such as a lease or a 40-page report, and ask "what are the notice periods?" instead of scrolling. The humanizer is for your own drafts that came out sounding like a press release; it isn't a way to pass off text as something it's not.

Text to App is good at single-page things: a landing page, a quiz, a calculator, a to-do list that saves in the browser. It doesn't build server code or databases.
